(Many inexpensive halters are of such inferior quality that we worry about the safety of our clients and their horses. Poor quality hardware and inferior, single or double-ply nylon makes them very risky - even dangerous in extreme circumstances where the joints or hardware might fail at a critical time.)

Equi-snap is a specially designed, stainless steel spring snap, which will not rub the horse or catch on fences (see close-up above). It's much easier to fasten than the conventional snap currently used on most horse halters. You can slip the halter on like a bridle instead of constantly trying to figure out which way is up or inside-out. Shortens tack time and makes catching in the pasture easier.
